White Eagles Wargames Club (or Weagles for short), is a club based at the 36th Ipswich Scout Hall in Ipswich. We like to play a mix of games and prefer to play for fun rather than winning at all costs.
Please feel free to get in touch or pop in and say ‘Hi!’.
Weagles meets fortnightly on a Saturday evening from 6.30pm to midnight. A few times per year we also do all day gaming events that run from noon to midnight. A full list of our club dates can be found in the events section of our Facebook Page:
The first session is free. Subs are £4 per session, you think you’ll make most of the meets in a year we also offer a reduced annual payment of £85 this covers all meets including the extended sessions

The Gwent Reavers are based in the small town of Abertillery inside the premises of Big Picture Photography. We're a friendly club, always happy to look at new games and help show the ones we already love. The club itself is over ten years old, and was once known as the Tredegar Wargames Club but after a move and rebranding the Gwent Reavers was born.
Every Monday 2pm - 10pm

We enjoy a variety of tabletop gaming systems, as well as board games and RPGs.
Infinity (still getting into this)
We have a few 40k players but this game has almost died out at our club.

The club atmosphere is casual as are the gaming. We are not hardcore tournament players but some tend to know rulebooks inside and play only with winning in mind while others just play for fun and epic moments.
We're a tightknit bunch of people and the clubs members all know each other outside of wargaming in someway. Be it school, childhood, work or the football club the codeword here is aquaintances.
The club is mainly focused around Warhammer Fantasy but many other games are played regularly. Club funds are spend on expanding this to have playable armies for all races of Warhammer Fantasy. The club has both terrain and three armies that it is possible to borrow as a member.
All members contribute to assemble and paint terrain and miniatures. This is is done collectively or at home depending on the member.
We meet casually to play but weekly painting sessions are almost running all year. Those below this age are still welcome but must be accompanied by an adult. We have no specific venue but use different conference and meeting facilities depending of the number of attendees.
We have 2 membership options:
DKK 50/month- active member. For the member that person the wishes to contribute most possible to the common interest of the club.
DKK 25/month- inactive member. For the person that just want to contribute to the club and be part of the community but might not want to commit to any game him/herself

WGC is a new tabletop hobby club for over 18's situated in a private room above The First and Last bar in Warrenpoint, with the usual pub facilities.
We are within 5 minutes walking distance from several shops and restaurants but due to the pubs licencing no hot food can be taken into the building.
Created 01/08/15, we hope to grow Warrenpoint Gaming Club over the coming year and beyond.
WGC was created by a group of like minded gamers to be a space we could not only play games but be ourselves and share our knowledge of the hobby.
Our Goals for the club:
-To provide a local venue for hobbyists and gamers to meet, game and have fun.
-To provide a variety of games.
-To share knowledge, and help develop skills.
-Help introduce and teach gamers new games.
-Promote gaming to the wider community.
We open Saturdays fortnightly with additional days from time to time and the club fees at present are £3 for the day. We generally open from 1pm to around 7:30pm.
7+ full size (6’X4’) boards (we now have purchased several scenery mats (urban city, barren wasteland, grassy plain) and have a couple of flocked mats- other tables are painted single colour at a minimum)
– several smaller tables for boardgames, magic etc.
-All in a large Scout hut with room for expansion for more tables when we have more members (and, since the refurbishment, it is pretty warm too).
– Terrain for all boards to a minimum of 25% coverage for 40k to the hyper-dense requirements for games like Infinity…trees, hills, graveyards etc for Fantasy games, but primarily it is 40k based terrain..
– Game arrangement, mainly via our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/groups/sonsofwar/ (we also have a free forum but this largely unused now). You can just turn up on the night, but nearly everyone arranges games in advanced, and you are much more certain to get a game this way. Join us to chat about topics and club events, as well as to get in touch with local guys and arrange games in advance, so you know what system to bring along etc.
Parking on-site for 7+ cars with space on the road outside for more, walking distance from the train station.
We are currently over 18s only.
We meet every Wednesday 6.30-10.00pm.
(although we normally have a shutdown over Christmas/New Year)
– £3 per night
– Membership (for upkeep of terrain, tables and Insurance) for 6 months is £10 or for the full year is £15…discount for long term commitment.
– With membership, games night drops to just £2.
