Our Open Day
The Society runs an Open Day called Cavalier every February. We have many traders (usually between 30 and 40) for you to make your essential wargaming purchases. Visiting clubs and other groups provide participation or demonstration games. Very good refreshments are available from a professional catering company.Cavalier 2015 was held 22nd February 2015. Our thanks to the Traders, Wargames Clubs, Visitors and Members (and one wife) who all contributed in some way to making it such a success. This was despite the very cold weather at the start of the day, and “trains turning into busses” between Orpington and Tonbridge.Perfect Platters, who do our catering, get a special vote of thanks for their excellenet “bacon butty delivery service” operated in the morning.Following the show, TWWS will be making a donation to Combat Stress, which includes over £100 which was was collected from direct donations in the collecting buckets at the Club Stand. The Best Games results can be found on the Cavalier 2015 Games Page.
